Partnership Guidelines open for comment
Micah Network held a strategic conversation on "Partners in Integral Mission" from 8-11 May 2005.
Steve Bradbury, Chair of the Micah Network writes:
"30 members from 15 different countries came together in Melbourne to do some hard thinking, talking and praying about issues of partnership. We recognised that this term can imply a level of mutuality in organization-organisation relationships - a sharing of goals, aspirations, and power - that is extraordinarily difficult to achieve and sustain. Those who participated in the May event were convinced that partnership relationships of this sort honour God, and provide an outstanding vehicle for integral mission. That is why this issue is of enormous importance to the Micah Network...."
Participants at the consultation produced two significant documents - a draft Values Statement and draft Partnership Guidelines. We encourage all members to consider these documents and let us have your feedback by the end of August 2005.

We request feedback to be sent either by email to Steve (steve@tear.org.au) or to Jane (ic@micahnetwork.org) or feel free to post comments on the Micah Network forum for all to see.
