Micah has not set out to be another institution. Rather, we are a network of practitioners - working in Christian relief, development, and justice ministries - who share information and learnings with one another and work together on key initiatives.
We aim to keep our costs low. We have a small staff team and are grateful for the support of a number of individuals and agency members who donate their time and other resources. Workshops and consultations are planned to be self-funding, with prices aimed just at cost-recovery.
Membership is open to agencies and churches who
- work significantly in relief, development or justice ministries,
- are committed to integral mission,
- are interested in working in and through the local church,
- are committed to the aims of the network and desire to participate,
- endorse and affirm our statement of beliefs
Associate membership is also available to networks, organisations, churches and individuals who wish to support the network.
Members contribute to costs of running the network - Members make an annual funding contribution to meet the core costs of the network. Some new initiatives (eg establishment of regional coordinating groups) and key projects are funded by external trusts and foundations.
